I had a massive phase of painting hyper-realism in oils as you can tell! Most of these works are from lockdown. I must admit, I look back and cringe at it a little bit… but I’m glad i spent so much time focussing on that; now I have developed refined technical skills, an eye for detail and in depth knowledge of colour (which translates across to anything else creative frankly!)
